The Career Design Lab is where students are guided and mentored by experienced coaches to design and develop their career paths, goals, and placement strategies. Our students begin their journey with the Career Design Lab, where they gain clarity about their strengths, interests, and aspirations. Through structured guidance, personalized mentoring, and continuous feedback, they build the skills and confidence needed to make informed career decisions and successfully transition into their chosen professions.
The masterclasses you designed were instrumental in assisting me in my internship and employment opportunities. I say that since although real estate paid well, I found that it would not satisfy my interest for the long haul. Currently, I am starting an accounting internship this Wednesday, as well as a website management role for an economics website called NYDEC. Both allow me to critically think in a way that involves judgment applied to mathematics and logical relations as seen with coding. I appreciate all your help and any further request that you may have, always know to reach out. Lastly, you also inspired me to up my skills in coding as well as accounting which I have been refreshing myself on via the Udemy and Intuit websites.
The class has giving me a chance to see everything that I was missing and what I needed to work on. It’s helped tremendously with identifying my weakness.
I am excited to share that I have accepted an offer to join Starwood Property Trust as a 2025 Summer Analyst in Miami, FL! I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity to dive into the dynamic world of commercial real estate finance. A heartfelt thank you to Gerry Marotta and the Starwood team for your support and mentorship throughout this process. I am beyond thrilled to begin a summer of immersive learning, professional growth, and the opportunity to contribute alongside the talented Starwood team.
I’m excited to share that I’ve accepted an Audit Internship with KPMG in Philadelphia for Winter 2025! This opportunity is the culmination of hard work, perseverance, and the incredible support I’ve received along the way. The journey wasn’t easy. I faced multiple rejections before landing this role, and each setback was challenging. However, those experiences taught me resilience, pushed me to refine my skills, and motivated me to keep improving.
I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and thankful to everyone who supported me throughout the process. Looking forward to what’s ahead, personally and professionally.
