Mission Statement

The ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ Learning Commons (QCLC) is a central hub for academic support where students acquire the skills and strategies necessary to achieve their undergraduate and graduate degree goals. QCLC provides peer tutoring, workshops, bootcamps, recitations, and other programming to help students optimize their learning.

In collaboration with academic and administrative departments across campus, QCLC fosters a culture of mutual support and belonging, service and civic engagement and a well-rounded education.
Beyond direct academic support, the Learning Commons offers welcoming study spaces, computer labs, and a printing station, ensuring students have the resources they need to collaborate, create, and succeed. Through inclusive, accessible, and student-centered services, QCLC inspires the pursuit of academic excellence and personal achievement while contributing to the campus community.

The QC Learning Commons (QCLC) offers free peer tutoring in the Math and Natural Sciences such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry,Ìý Biology, Physics, along with Humanities and Social Sciences including Linguistics, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Accounting, Business, Anthropology, and Foreign Languages such as French, and Italian.

The ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ Writing Center (QCWC) offers one-to-one writing support and writing workshops for ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ students. As a multilingual academic and intellectual support space where ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ students work in collaboration with peer tutors to improve their writing, QCWC supports undergraduate and graduate students across disciplines, encouraging students’ growth as writers at any stage of the writing process.
