Welcome Message
Greetings from ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ and welcome to the Spring 2026 semester!
A new year brings with it a new semester and a fresh start to your academic career. With that in mind, on behalf of the entire ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ Student Affairs Team, I am excited to welcome you to campus for the coming semester, and I hope you are as excited to be here as we are to have you!
As you prepare for the start of classes, I encourage you to check your ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ email often. This is the official outlet for communication with ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ and many of your updates and messages will only be sent to that account. If you are having issues accessing your account, please contact Information Technology Services by visiting the HelpDesk in room 200 of the I Building (adjacent to the Dining Hall) or contacting them online via their webpage atÌý/its/.
Before you do anything else, please take a moment to sign up for the CUNY Alert service. This is a text and e-mail service that will keep you updated with important announcements from ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ and the City University of New York such as closings, delays, etc. To sign up, visitÌýÌýand scroll down to “Subscribing to CUNY Alert.â€
Did you know that there are scholarships available for QC students? Feel free to read more about them atÌýÌýand apply online atÌý!
When trying to make appointments with offices on campus, be sure to log into QC Navigate to make an appointment in advance. You can do so by visitingÌý.
Hungry on campus? QC Campus Eats is our food vendor and they offer food in the Dining Hall, Student Union, Science Building, Kiely Hall, Queens Hall, and Rosenthal Library. They offer a variety of options in the various locations, so check each one out to see what they have lined up. Feel free to visit their website atÌýhttps://www.campuseats.co/queens-college.
As you make your way to campus, please be mindful of the following suggestions to ensure an easy arrival for class:
- Access-A-Ride access to campus – If you plan to use Access-A-Ride services to come to campus or to leave, the process is easy! Simply instruct your driver to arrive via the Entrance Gate closest to where you need to be dropped off or picked up and when they arrive at campus, Public Safety will allow them access. To read more, visitÌý/sp/accessibility-on-campus/. NOTE: Access-A-Ride is only permitted to pick up and drop off at these locations, so plan your route accordingly.
- Uber/Lyft drop-off locations – When using a ride-share service, we ask that you find a drop-off OUTSIDE of campus that is nearest the gate you plan to access. Please keep in mind that it is best to have the driver pull up 50-100 feet beyond that gate entrance so that they do not cause congestion for other traffic driving in that same area while they wait for you.
Looking to show off your ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ pride? Visit the School Store in the Dining Hall across from The Corner Pocket Game Room for all your QC gear!
Lastly, check our Student Life webpage as often as possible. We keep it updated with activities, leadership development opportunities, and news important for your success at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ. Bookmark our page now:Ìý/sl/Ìýand follow us on Instagram @QCStudentAffairs to see what we are up to!
