CUNY EDGE Program

“CUNY EDGE has filled in knowledge gaps that would have made my traversal as a first generation college student difficult. I am grateful for the help and know I would not be where I am if not for the program.”

How are Students Enrolled with CUNY EDGE?

The Human Resource Administration requires students to complete an HRA-154 form at the start of each semester. This confirms a student’s enrollment with CUNY. Students can report to the CUNY EDGE office to drop off a school letter for completion.

Allow two to three business days for the school letters to be prepared for pickup. HRA requires Classroom Activities, Homework Hours, Internships and Federal Work-Study Hours to be reported for CUNY EDGE students. Students are required to meet with an EDGE staff member once a month to fulfill their engagement requirements.

Students with active cases can use the Access HRA Portal view their case status, case information, appointments, documentation and more!
If you do not have an open case with HRA and are interested, you can also click the button above to apply and for more information!

” My journey with CUNY Edge at 춹Ƶ has been transformative. As a Guyanese student and an economics major, I came to the college as a transfer after a few years of hiatus. The transition could have been overwhelming, but the CUNY Edge program provided the support, resources, and community I didn’t know I needed. It bridged the gap between my past experiences and my academic aspirations, and in doing so, rejuvenated my passion for learning.

Being a part of this program means more than just academic support; it’s about belonging, understanding, and pushing forward, no matter where you come from or the challenges you’ve faced. I am immensely grateful for this program, and I hope that future students find the same solace and motivation in CUNY Edge as I did. “
