Bienvenue à Hors Centre/Welcome to Outside the Center!
Hors Centre is an initiative of the French Club at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ. It is a guidebook that presents a unique collection of reviews of French and Francophone cultural venues in new York City’s “outer” boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and in M​anhattan above 96th Street. These reports were assembled by students at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ/CUNY.
Hors Centre/Outside the Center aims to raise awareness of French and Francophone cultures in NYC in its entirety. The ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ French Club hopes that you enjoy the attached booklet and videos.
The Hors Centre/Outside the Center proposal won first prize in the “France on Campus” award competition held by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.​
