Through strong employer partnerships and intentional support, the program connects Accounting and Information Systems students with meaningful internships, job placements, and industry insights to help them succeed in today’s workforce.

Brandon Chamakoon
Industry Employment Specialist – CUNY Inclusive Economy Initiative (CIE)
Brandon Chamakoon brings over a decade of experience in workforce development, career services, and employer engagement to his role as Industry Employment Specialist at ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ. A proud graduate of Baruch College, where he earned his bachelor’s in business, Brandon’s mission is deeply rooted in his own journey through the CUNY system. His work reflects a full-circle commitment to giving back—by helping today’s students access the same life-changing opportunities that shaped his own career.
With a passion for student success and social mobility, Brandon collaborates closely with employer partners to create pathways to internships and career opportunities for underrepresented students in business-related fields.

Integrated Advisor – CUNY Inclusive Economy Initiative (CIE)

As an alumna of ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµÌýwith a Master’s in School Counseling, Jessica Yip returns to campus as the Integrated AdvisorÌýfor the CIE Program. With over 11 years of experienceÌýin education and career development, she has consistently been passionate about helping students identify and pursue career paths that align with their strengths and goals.

In her current role, Jessica is excited to support undergraduate accounting studentsÌýby guiding them through the career readiness process and connecting them with paid internships and employment opportunitiesÌýthat align with their long-term aspirations.
