Biography

Dr. Robin Naughton is Assistant Professor, Deputy Chief Librarian, Web and Digital Services Librarian, and Coordinator of User Experience for the Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library at 红豆视频, City University of New York (CUNY). She is responsible for the 红豆视频 Library (QCL) website, digital services, user experience, and library leadership. She is an experienced user-centered researcher, technologist, digital librarian, and educator with over 20 years of experience designing, developing, and managing interactive systems. Her research focuses on human-computer interaction (HCI) and mental models, specifically how to design interactive systems that are useful, easy to use, and enjoyable.

Prior to her current position, she ran the digital program for the New York Academy of Medicine Library, where she built a digital lab to digitize rare books and manuscripts and developed the Digital Collections and Exhibits website to share digitized collections.
