Regional Events
The Office of Alumni Relations not only hosts events in New York but hosts regional events in various states across the country. At these events, many alumni share stories about their experiences at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ and hear news about their alma mater. Many alumni reconnect with former classmates and establish new friendships with other alumni too!
Volunteers are always needed to help with events in their area. If you are interested in hosting an event near you, let us know! For more information, please email alumnievents@qc.cuny.edu.

Want to stay connected to ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ even if you live far away from campus? We are looking for alumni in geographic locations outside of Queens, NY to strengthen their connection to other alums in their area and to the College. Groups organize activities that allow them to socialize, network, participate in fun activities and share great memories. You are a QC alum for a lifetime, so why not show your pride and get involved? The Alumni Relations office is happy to help you plan a kick-off event in your area! SoA’s Arts in the Parks
This summer, ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ School of Arts (SoA) is partnering with the NYC Dept. of Parks & Recreation to bring free arts programming to parks across Queens, NY. Featuring performances and workshops by QC students, alumni, and professional artists, the initiative activates public spaces through music, dance, visual arts, and community engagement while providing professional opportunities for emerging creatives.

Past Regional Alumni Events 2024-2025
Alumni Reception: Washington, DC
The alumni reception held at Chef Geoff’s in Washington, DC on November 5, 2025 was attended by QC graduates representing classes from 1959 to 2021! It was a great mix of both annual and first time alumni attendees with all reminiscing about their “NY-Queens†roots. President Frank H. Wu shared campus news and Laura Abrams informed the alumni about virtual events and the ways to support current students’ career development via the ASK (Alumni sharing Knowledge) program.
Alumni Brunch: Long Island, NY
On April 6, 2025, alumni from the Long Island, NY area gathered together for a special alumni brunch at The Marriott Melville Long Island. Alumni enjoyed food and beverages while being able to reconnect with one another. President Frank H. Wu spoke with alumni, answered questions about the College and shared QC news with guests. The evening also featured alumni sharing their personal experiences and stories from their time at QC and discussed the impact their alma mater has had on their lives.
Alumni Brunch: Pompano Beach, FL
ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ returned to Florida to see familiar faces in Pompano Beach. On February 23, 2025, alumni gathered at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort and Spa for an alumni brunch. President Frank H. Wu shared updates about ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ which opened the floor for alumni to ask questions about the campus and student learning. While enjoying brunch, alumni shared their QC memories with one another and spoke about their student experiences at their alma mater.
