The QC School of Arts internship programÌýis an enriching opportunity designed to elevate students on their creative journeys. With the idea of bridging the gap between academia and professional practice, students are able to connect their arts learning with real-world experience at major arts organizations and cultural institutions throughout New York City! Through this internship program, students are able to gain new professional skills and specialized insight that will prepare them for various dynamic careers in the arts and entertainment industry.
Intern at the Theatre!
The ²Ï³Ü±ð±ð²Ô²õÌýTheatre, in partnership with the ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ School of Arts,ÌýisÌýseekingÌýmotivatedÌýSocial MediaÌýInternsÌýto joinÌýtheÌýteam!ÌýThe ideal candidate willÌýpossessÌýproficiencyÌýinÌývarious social media platforms, content creation, video editing, and event marketing,Ìýand must be available to work on-site duringÌýspecificÌýQueens TheatreÌýevents.Ìý
Responsibilities include:
- Create engaging and well-aligned content for social media platforms, aiming to increase Queens Theatre’s visibility and outreach
- Develop social media initiatives and content series to drive event promotion
- Capture and edit photos and videos during Queens Theatre events
- Monitor social media engagement and data analytics to optimize growth strategies
- Draft social media writing and conduct trend forecasting & market research.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites, MS Word, MS Excel, and Google Docs
- Experience working in an arts organization and/or non-profit is a plus.
This position offers an hourly rate ofÌý$20Ìýfor a commitment ofÌý5-15ÌýhoursÌýper week,Ìýwith the potential for extension into a longer internship with theÌý²Ï³Ü±ð±ð²Ô²õÌýTheatre. Join us in contributing to the vibrant creative arts community!

Marketing and Design Internship!
The Office of Alumni Relations, in partnership with the ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ School of Arts, is seeking a motivated to join the team! The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in content creation, video editing, and event marketing.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ undergraduate or graduate degree program, graphic design preferred.
- At least a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in their current degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Canva required.
- At least one semester of experience in being a part of a student-led club or organization on campus, preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to contribute and collaborate as member of a team.
Work Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Alumni Engagement Manager on creating content for social media, and assisting with the GOLD e-newsletter.
- Design and update flyers, e-invitations, slideshows and web graphics for alumni events and programs.
- Assist in event preparations and set-up for the Senior Class Toast (April 29th).
- General administrative duties as assigned.
