Workshop providers will report your completion electronically to the Office of Teaching Initiatives.Ìý Carefully follow any instructions given to you by the workshop provider.Ìý It may take several days to a few weeks for the workshops to be posted to your TEACH account.Ìý Check with the workshop provider to find out when the workshop completion will be entered.Ìý You can check your TEACH account regularly to see when the workshop is entered by going to the Workshops section of your Account Information page (go to TEACH Home → Account Information → Workshops).

The information you submit to the workshop provider must be an exact match of the identifying information in your TEACH account (SSN, date of birth, full name).Ìý You are responsible for verifying the information in your TEACH account and making sure that it matches the information you submit to the workshop provider.Ìý If it does not match, this will delay the processing of your workshop.Ìý If you have questions about the information the workshop provider has on file, you must contact the provider to make sure that they can submit your workshop correctly.

Check your TEACH account to verify workshop completion by going to the Workshops section of your Account Information page (go to TEACH Home → Account Information → Workshops).

All candidates should have the Child Abuse Identification (Second Update) workshop posted on their TEACH account.

TEACH ACCOUNT EXAMPLE

If you are currently certifiedÌýand (go to TEACH Home → Account Information → College Recommendations)

• you received a College Recommendation before 5/1/2014, you will automatically be credited with the School Violence Intervention and Prevention workshop.
• you received a College Recommendation after 5/1/2014, you will automatically be credited with the School Violence Intervention and Prevention workshop and the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) workshop.
