https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/provost\/multiple-positions\/<\/a>.<\/p>\nAs a full-time New York State employee at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ, it is assumed that your full effort is devoted to your ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ work. Compensated outside activities are permitted, however, these activities are limited in the amount of time that can be devoted to them and subject to prior approval.<\/p>\n
All full-time faculty must report their outside activity status prior to every fall and spring semester, <\/strong>whether or not they plan to engage in compensated work outside of the primary assignment at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ (note that summer multiple position reporting is governed by a different process). These forms are reviewed and, if applicable, proposed outside activities are approved, denied, or modified prior to the start of the semester.<\/p>\nAny planned outside activities must not be commenced prior to approval. Submission deadlines have been scheduled with this in mind: Completed forms go to your supervisor (typically, your department chair) by April 15 for the subsequent fall semester and October 17 for the subsequent spring semester. <\/strong>Any changes to outside activity status should be indicated by filing a revised MPF.<\/p>\nThank you for your prompt attention to this important matter.<\/p>\n
