The Program is modeled on the prestigious American Council on Education fellowship and is designed to mentor and support faculty to learn more about how the institution as a whole functions. Fellows work under the supervision of the Provost and in collaboration with members of the Provost&#8217;s and President&#8217;s Cabinets, on a year-long project addressing an area of improvement needed at the College. Fellows work on year-long projects under the provost\u2019s guidance, collaborating with cabinet members and receiving leadership training. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/provost\/faculty-fellows\/#past\">Past fellows<\/a> have advanced into leadership roles across QC, the PSC, and CUNY Central.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to teaching and research, Pagano has taken on many important roles at Queens. Pagano is the deputy chair of the psychology department; serves on the faculty senate at QC and CUNY; is chair of the psychology department\u2019s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility committee; and is a member of the personal and budget committee and academic planning and curriculum committee. Pagano is also chair of the Nominating Committee\u2014which submits nominations for committees to the Academic Senate\u2014and co-chair of QC\u2019s Middle States accreditation process for Standard VII: Governance, Leadership, and Administration.
