Every academic department and program at ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ documents their assessment work. The deadline for the 2024-2025 Academic Year is May 16, 2025<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The purpose of assessment reporting is to:<\/p>\n Submit all your Assessment Reporting Documents to your Assessment Coordinator<\/a>; they will consult with the Academic Assessment Council<\/a> and provide feedback<\/span>. Templates for these documents are included above.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n An <\/span>Assessment Plan<\/span><\/b> includes the program learning objective(s) you wish to assess, the courses in which the assessment will take place, appropriate assessment methods, and acceptable benchmarks for those methods.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n An <\/span>Assessment Results Report <\/span><\/b>is the documentation of the results from a recent Assessment Plan, and depending on whether the outcomes meet the desired benchmarks, includes either a Final Report or an Assessment Action Plan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Final Report<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A <\/span>Final Report <\/span><\/b>is the final summary of a completed assessment cycle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Assessment Action Plan<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n An <\/span>Assessment Action Plan <\/span><\/b>discusses changes that will be made to the department or program in the coming year to improve student learning outcomes. Examples of changes include: curricular changes; development of materials, modules, courses; improving student support; building community connections.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>Assessment Overview Survey<\/span><\/b> is a yearly survey developed by the Academic Assessment Council<\/a> to learn about the current state of assessment practice in the College.
