Davis is Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CETLL) and Professor of Music Education at the Aaron Copland School of Music. Davis has designed and facilitated faculty development initiatives focused on pedagogy, advising, career-connected learning, assessment, and instructional technologies. Prior to becoming director of CETLL, she served on the CETLL Advisory Board, QC Navigate Team, and as a Career-Infused Advising Champion. In these roles, she collaborated with faculty and administrative offices to develop resources, workshops, and programs that strengthen advising and teaching practices across the college. Additionally, Davis served as Standard IV Co-Chair for ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ\u2019s successful Middle States reaccreditation process and played a central role in the Aaron Copland School of Music\u2019s achievement of initial accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Music in 2021. During her service as Provost\u2019s Middle States Faculty Fellow, she created the\u00a0Faculty and Departmental Advisor Hub<\/a>.<\/p>\n Davis\u2019s research on culturally responsive music education, praxis, and philosophy has led to multiple publications and international presentations, including contributions to the\u00a0Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education<\/em>,\u00a0String Research Journal<\/em>,\u00a0Music Educators Journal<\/em>,\u00a0Visions of Research in Music Education<\/em>,\u00a0Journal of Music Teacher Education<\/em>,\u00a0Journal of General Music Education<\/em>,\u00a0American String Teacher<\/em>,\u00a0International Journal of Music Education<\/em>, and the\u00a0Oxford Handbook of Feminism and Music Education<\/em>.
