\u2022 Demonstrate language proficiency in another language used for instruction in NY schools, including Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Bengali, Urdu, French, Haitian Creole, Russian, Arabic, Punjabi, etc.<\/p>\n
The program coursework consists of courses in the history and theories of bilingualism and bilingual education and multicultural and global education, linguistic, socio-cultural, and psycholinguistic aspects of bilingualism, discipline specific biliteracy curriculum, instruction, and assessment at the secondary level.\u00a0 All courses have a component of the guided field experience and are taught as either online or hybrid online courses.<\/p>\n\n\n
