The ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ School of Education, in collaboration with LEAP to Teacher<\/a>, is delighted to launch the Queens-Grown Upskilling Paraprofessional Program, an initiative designed for full-time and substitute paraprofessionals and teaching assistants.<\/p>\n The program supports fellows in earning New York State Initial Teacher Certification with the goal of increasing educator diversity and strengthening community-based teacher pipelines. Participants will receive academic guidance and financial support while completing the requirements of an undergraduate teacher preparation program at ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ.<\/p>\n Application to the program is open to paraprofessionals and teaching assistants who are currently enrolled or plan to enroll in an undergraduate<\/strong> teacher preparation program at ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Recruitment for the program is ongoing, and interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
