To reach this end, the program is structured to develop students&#8217; skills in the following areas<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Knowledge base in psychology<\/strong>: Comprehension in the field&#8217;s key concepts, theoretical perspectives, historical trends, and empirical findings, in at least four core areas of psychology.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scientific inquiry and critical thinking<\/strong>: Scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills, knowledge of research methods, to understand and interpret psychological phenomena.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ethical and social responsibility in a diverse world<\/strong>: Ethically and socially responsible behaviors in professioinal and personal settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professional development<\/strong>: Application of psychology-specific skills in: Project-managment; teamwork; and career preparation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These skills wil prepare undergraduate student for career placment, graduate studies, and community service.
