Her interests also include the intersections of philosophy of mind and education, and the educational applications and therapeutic dimensions of philosophical practice. A QC alum and first-generation college graduate, she approaches teaching as an opportunity to engage students not only in philosophical inquiry and the history of ideas, but with tools for reflective living. Lizandra holds a B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy, as well as an M.A. in Data Analytics and Applied Social Research. Outside the philosophy department, Lizandra holds a position at the college as an institutional researcher, where her work offers insights into our students\u2019 experiences and development. J. Greer (pronouns she\/her) is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center and a Senior Ethics Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a 2025-2026 fellow with The Committee on Globalization and Social Change, as well as a 2025-2026 Care Fellow at the Iowa Care Lab. Her research tackles issues within the ethics of imagination and extrapolates them to actual interpersonal engagement. Her dissertation explored the phenomenon of relatability, providing an analysis, practical applications (e.g., in medical and educational settings), and unpacking the role of relatability in fiction. Since 2019, she has taught in ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ\u2019s Philosophy Department, both online and in-person. Outside the classroom, Alexia Papigiotis is affiliated with Corrupt the Youth, having served on the National Board and previously been the NYC Chapter Director.
