The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ is a comprehensive eight-week initiative designed to immerse undergraduate students in meaningful and practical research experiences across various academic disciplines. This program, supported by dedicated faculty mentors, provides invaluable opportunities for students to develop essential research skills that will prepare them for academic pursuits and career paths in research-oriented fields. During the program, students receive support through weekly seminars to support students with aspects of research that take place outside the laboratory. These sessions include effective presentation of scientific information, crafting research posters, analyzing scientific literature, and improving their data analysis techniques. The culmination of their efforts will be presented in a research symposium, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their work to an audience, thereby further advancing their academic and professional development.<\/p>\n
