Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative – CITI Program<\/h6>\n

All CUNY faculty members, postdoctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students involved in animal research must complete the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative’s (CITI) on-line training prior to IACUC approval. In addition, research personnel must complete a Facility Training to have access to the vivarium.<\/p>\n

Follow the steps outlined below to complete your training:<\/p>\n

  1. Log-in (or register if you are a first-time user) to CITI Program<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select City University of New York<\/em> (ºì¶¹ÊÓÆµ will not be listed) as your affiliated Institution.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on \u201cAdd a course or update your learner groups.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Complete the Animal Use and Care Course<\/em> for IACUC.<\/li>\n
  5. Select the learner group that best fits your position at CUNY and your role in research.<\/li>\n
  6. Complete the required modules.<\/li>\n
  7. Complete any optional modules that may be of interest to you. If you are a research assistant, the Principal Investigator will indicate additional modules to complete.<\/li>\n
  8. The IACUC Training and Facility training should be submitted to the ORC Office<\/a> by the Principal Investigator with the IACUC Protocol (if new submission).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    ** Please refer to the <\/strong>CUNY HRPP<\/strong><\/a> site to identify the additional trainings you may be required to complete. **<\/strong><\/p>\n
