Applicants need to complete the ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ graduate admission process AND to submit scores of two to three recent works. Remember to complete all application steps in order to be considered for the degree program. Applicants for the MM in Composition require an undergraduate degree with a major in music or equivalent. You may apply during the final year of your undergraduate program, however full admission to the master\u2019s degree program requires that the undergraduate degree has been awarded.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

International students whose primary language is not English are required to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The minimum score is 79 for TOEFL and 6.0 for the IELTS.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the first semester, students will sit the diagnostic examination in music history, theory, and basic keyboard skills. This examination is for placement purposes; students who pass the exam will be exempt from some classes.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
