Biographical Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diana Maron is a PhD candidate in Musicology at the Graduate Center of CUNY and serves as an adjunct lecturer at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ and Fordham University. Her research interests focus on Opera and Early Audiovisual Technology\/Media. While at the Graduate Center, Diana earned an advanced certificate in Film Studies and worked as a Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow at Hostos Community College. In this role, she collaborated with faculty to develop writing-intensive syllabi and conducted workshops on pedagogy for ESL students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Diana has taught Music History at Brooklyn College, Opera at the School of Visual Arts, and currently teaches Music History at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ (ACSM) and Latin American music at Fordham University. She has also lectured about opera for the Met Opera Guild, gaining valuable experience in public musicology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dancer and actor turned academic, Diana holds a Master\u2019s degree in Music (Interpretive Practices), a BA in Voice\/Operatic Singing, and a BA in Music Production\/Audio Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n
