He is a New York City\u2013based multi-instrumentalist celebrated for his mastery of the entire low brass family and his versatility across a wide range of musical genres. Equally at home in classical, contemporary, and popular idioms, he performs regularly at many of New York\u2019s premier performance venues. As a soloist, he is a passionate advocate for bold, imaginative works by American composers, championing music that expands the expressive and technical possibilities of the low brass tradition.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Outside of performance, Ryan is pioneering new frontiers in systematic musicology, leading interdisciplinary research that bridges quantum acoustics, advanced signal processing, and hyper-realistic sound field capture. His work seeks to redefine the relationship between music, physics, and perception\u2014establishing new paradigms for how sound is recorded, understood, and experienced.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Ryan Fisk studied Music Education at Louisiana State University and Texas State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree. After relocating to New York City, he completed a Master of Music in Classical Tuba Performance at the Manhattan School of Music.
