Students interested in <\/span>either one of these programs <\/span>should contact <\/span>the <\/span>EECE<\/span> D<\/span>epartmen<\/span>t<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(<\/span><\/span>eece@qc.cuny.edu<\/span><\/span><\/a>)<\/span> as early as<\/span> f<\/span>r<\/span>eshma<\/span>n<\/span> y<\/span>ear for information about program requirements and the application process. The department holds informational sessions about NYS certification and program requirements several times each semester. First- and second-year students considering careers in <\/span>early chi<\/span>ldho<\/span>od and <\/span>elementary education are encouraged to apply.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ has a Jointly Registered Program with Queensborough and LaGuardia Community Colleges. Students who previously attended these institutions should contact the Department during their first semester upon transfer to ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
<\/strong>All students at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ must fulfill the College\u2019s general education requirements. <\/span>General education courses may not be taken with the P\/NC option. Students must earn a grade of C or higher in all courses. Students can obtain a worksheet listing the course selections that fulfill the general education requirements from the Department or from the Academic Advising Center.<\/span><\/p>\n
