General Anthropology Minor<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Minor in Anthropology is designed to provide broad coverage of anthropology and consists of six courses totalling 18 credits.\u00a0 Three of these courses are chosen from our four 100-level courses that introduce the four subfields of anthropology: cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, archaeology, and linguistic anthropology.\u00a0 Students may choose any three and the courses do not need to be taken in numerical order.\u00a0 Following these introductory courses, students choose one of our four Essentials courses; these courses each take a deeper dive into one of the four subfields.\u00a0 The final two courses for the minor can be any anthropology course at the 200-level or above; these two courses may consist of Essentials courses in other subfields, or they may be area-based or topical courses in any subfield or a combination of the two.\u00a0 A grade of C- or above must be earned in a course for it to count towards the Minor in Anthropology.<\/p>\n
