The Department of Accounting & Information Systems offers accounting, information systems, business law, and taxation courses for accounting majors and other students. Accounting majors may prepare themselves for a career in public, private, or governmental accounting or for teaching accounting in higher education institutions. The Advanced Accounting Track meets the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in New York State. This program has a minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 for courses in this track and a total of 63 credits. A minimum of 21 credits must be taken at ºì¶¹ÊÓƵ for the major.<\/span><\/p>\nAccounting Major \u2013 Advanced Accounting Track:<\/h5>\n
